Question regarding Navigation
I had a 2008 G35, it didn't have navigation, but I sometimes used the voice commands. On the 08 when you pushed the voice button while the system was talking it would jump to where I was able to say a voice command.
I recently purchased a 2009 G37 (both Sedans), this time I did purchase the navigation.
Now whenever I hit the voice command while the system talks it pauses rather then skip ahead to where I am able to say a command.
Wondered if anyone new if it's a difference in Nav / Non Nav, or the the years 08 / 09...and more importantly if anyone knows if there's a setting to be able to skip the systems instructions rather then having to listen to them each and every time.
I looked myself, however found nothing.
Thanks.

I have an 08 sedan w/ Nav and it does this, so it's not a difference between years. There have been many people on this forum that have asked whether you can skip system instructions, and the answer is always that you can turn off part of what the system says (options), but you can't turn off the part that says "or push back to cancel".
