so my cars in the shop getting some bodywork done, and I've been driving an '07 525i or an '05 A6 3.2 this week - decided to play around with my free PocketDyno app in those two.

Let me preface that the BMW is miserably slow, I can't stand driving it. You really notice it on the highway, making passes or moves to change lanes is much more difficult - and that transmission is so damn finnicky and slow and jerky in sport mode. Not a "sporty" drive - definitely an "inferior driving machine". Did two runs - 0-60, best was a 7.5 but it felt a hell of a lot slower.

Now the A6 - 40 more horsepower and a lot more torque (i think the 525i only has 184....hahahaha). Let me say I actually like the way it drives better than the 5er, even though it has active steering and very touchy throttle/brake. Did one successful run - about a 7.4..... which is crazy because it feels so much torquier than the 5er and does give you a shove in the backside when you get on it, while the 5er never makes a peep or a motion to let you know it's accelerating.

Oh well - can't wait to have my G back... it drives so much better and is so much more involving than those two cars. Driving them I either waft along without a care in the world or I'm hard on the throttle trying to get the damn things to move. He told me it'd be done Thursday, so for sure by Friday.....right.....right??
