I've heard this before and although it's true when the job is done right, it seldom ever is.
I had a car get hit in the front end (the day after I bought it
) that caused severe front end damage and although the shop pulled and straightened everything, and it was never ever the same.
I ended up selling it a year later.

In reply to the the guy that said his car was never the same after it was hit the day he bought it. So, you had it for less than a day? Did you really have enough time to determine how it was before the accident to be able to say "it was never the same".
