long story short, i have a NON-sport OEM front bumper and i let a cute girl drive my car, she scraped the hell out of my bumper against a wall. i've always wanted to change to the SPORT front bumper and now this kinda gave me a reason to change it. some questions i have are ..

1.) are there any aftermarket bumpers out for the 2gen sedans
2.) how much can i get a sport OEM front bumper for?
3.) does the oem bumpers from infiniti come painted, if not how much roughly for a front bumper paintjob to ivory pearl
4.) does anyone know if the NON-sport and SPORT have the exact same clearance from the bottom part of the bumper to ground level, if not how much ?

sorry if this is kinda long, and im not up to date at all with new threads cus i dont usually log on to driver. but any help would be appreciated .. thank you

 

1. Don't think so.
2. $300 raw bumper. $950 to $1000 total, painted and installed
3. No, see #2.
4. About the same in the center. Lower Left and Right corner in front of tire is lower but does not affect clearance even when lowered.

I'm kind of in the same boat. Have a 08 IP and got some scratches. Went to 2 shops in town, 1st wants to put on a new bumper painted, wants $850 total. The 2nd wants to spot repair the scratches and re-clear the bumper, that's $600. I am going to see what Collision on Wheels will charge to pick up a bumper I order, paint it and put it on.

I am kind of leaning toward a new bumper. When I do this I was also thinking of switching to Sport, this was really the only thing i really wanted from the sport package.
