I need opinion!

Hello!

I finally convinced myself to buy a new wheel... (took me a year ) anyways... I tried to buy m45 wheels through locally... no luck + too many bent used rims... so no thanks to used rims... so I was thinking to buy new wheels but problem is my budget... I can spend around $1.5k for just wheels... was thinking forgestar and a34 nismo wheel (if i can find one in silver)... any recommendation? I need something strong due to road around my area (many pot holes....) or should I save up more money and get some good wheels such as volk or work?

Please help! Thanks!

Im not sure what much ppl can say as it is your decision, however considering current times I would recommend to get some cheaper strong rims, as i myself have done. I got some mrr gt-1 like many on these forums, these rims look great are cheap and are really strong IMO so far with a lot of driving and i have some serious construction going on in the area which means bad roads all around.

So anyways make your pick wisely but as for me i am happy with the choice i made over 1.5 years ago and i'm sure fellow "cheap" rim owners would agree

Also if you're worried about damaging rims i would not go over 19" max to allow some rubber on the rims for protection against serious damage.

Thanks for your input!

I was thinking 19 8.5 wheel running all season 245/40/19 tires.... I am just really worrying about benting rims... While I was looking around for M45 wheels, I saw too many of them bented...

I love the mmr-gt1 looks.... so it was holding alright for you? Does it work with TPMs? Have you hit any pot holes?

Thanks again
