Automatic transmission check on 2008 G35?

I just bought a used 2008 G35 sedan. I changed the oil and wanted to check the auto transmission fluid but the owners manual does not show how to do it. I think I found the dipstick for it but it appears its bolted down? Are we not supposed to check it and just change it at 30k miles? Tried searching but not much info on the auto trans. tks.

yea, the dipstick is WAYY in the back of the motor, and has a screw/nut on it... Just unbolt it, and pull up... It'd kinda hard to get to, but it can be done. A buddy of mine owns a transmission shop says it's normal for some cars to have it bolted

I believe the general rule of thumb is to change it at 45-50k miles, then every 30k miles after that...

I wanted mine changed early b/c I drive hard....

Bringing a thread back from the dead... sitting at 35k and just got my oil changed... the guy at the Nissan(infiniti was booked until next week) dealer just freaked me out telling me he wouldnt go over 30k without flushing the trans fluid and i may burn up my transmission if i dont do it right at 30k. also reccomended i change my belt at 30k even if it isnt cracking or showing wear. they wanted $235 for the flush and 150 for the belt. also reccomended to change the coolant at 30k.

all the cars i have had before this one had 60k reccomended for all of these. i drive 80% highway 20 city, and i do use the DS mode quite a bit. what do yall think? can i take this somewhere else and get the flush done? what do you think about the belts and coolant??
