a decent paint job is 6-8k alone.

interior apparenly had something on it that will take the color off (hints the white). So itd have to be replaced. (have you tried to clean paint offa leather? And were successful without ripping it?)

There's about 15k worth of damage (you fixing it yourself).

I'm sure it was done with best intentions. Probably wanted to decorate it a little. After all it did look quite plain........no racing stripes or nothing.

Bid for it and sell the parts > buy the car & restore it

Strip out all unnecessary interior stuff and this would make a pretty good track car.

I was thinking about bidding 1K for it.
The engine alone is worth a few grand. The question is, what's it gonna cost to throw away everything I dont want???

The paint can be cleaned up.. Just fiberglass the interior and get the seats redone..it wouldnt cost 28,000..

damn... that really sucks...

I'm sure the repair cost is cheaper than 28k. doesn't look like there's anything physically wrong w/ it...

i'd imagine like 8k you can redo the entire interior to whatever the hell you want. the spray paint can be taken off with a buffer. and then re apply the clear coat for extra protection.

Oh damn haha it looks better than most spares. How would this cost 28k to repair? The engine is fine, its just the body that needs some work and the interior
