Speed/Power Differences

This may be a childish thread because it involves questions about things such as 0-60mph times and horsepower questions, but I hear such a variation of things and I figured where could I get more accurate answers than G35Driver? :P

- What is the difference in power/speed between the the 2007 G35+ sedans and the G37 sedans? Is there anything different besides the displacement?

- Is it true the sedan is faster than the coupe due to weight differences? Or is this a myth

- What is the 0-60mph times and 1/4 mile (average) for a 7AT sedan? I heard things range from early 5.0-6.0sec and I am just pretty curious for bragging rights.

+1 Nothing a quick google can't answer either.

sedan is faster than coupe in your typical stoplight run...

race it from a 60 kick and you will immediately see it pull....stock for stock ofcourse.

from personal driving experience, the 7at seems to slow the g37 down some and the g35 seems faster than that as well. but i am sure there is a section in the powerband where the g37 shines. i just havent seen it yet.

my thoughts exactly. I have been given a 37 as a loaner a couple times and I feel that its sluggish in every driving mode. Glad I got the 08 instead of the 09.

I had a run-in with a G37 Coupe (Journey, 5at) on the track and that thing wasn't running away like i thought it would. In the straights i would slowly gain on him. Could be just the driver, however. The one thing i really like about the '37c is how nice their stock exhaust sounds.
