AUX Video Input with bypass to use during vehicle operation
Thank you for your time.
Anyone hooked up a DVD player or ipod (with video out) to their G35? Please let me know what you have successfully connected to your G35 AND how you did it specifically (power inverter, cables, etc).
Anyone tried (and failed) or successfully bypassed the 'video off while driving feature'? It appears if you use the AUX input of audio and video, when driving, the vehicle plays audio but shuts off video.
If anyone has successfully bypassed this 'feature' to play video AND audio while driving (i.e. in gear and moving) please let us know how you did it specifcally including parts, cables, etc.
Make sure, that if you have to modify any wiring harnesses that you're specifically identifying the correct wires and colors of wires and pictures. Please also let us know how exactly you know or figured out which wires to modify.
To do any modifications to the system it appears you have to remove the radio to get to the rear of the unit to ground the e-brake cable and disconnect the vehicle speed sensor. Does anyone have a step by step WITH pictures of the removal of a 2007 G35 sedan factory radio removal?? Or at least a step by step.
