maybe I missed something but isn't an '07 still under factory warranty ? or.... under what situation wouldn't it be ?

It's probably pretty labour intensive.
& lots of extra parts; idlers, tensioners/dampers etc....

...no doubt a lot of $margin too

Did you buy your used G from an Infiniti/Nissan dealer?
