Quick help needed - Trunk release switch
Read the OPs post again - the point was to prevent anything but a keyfob from opening the trunk.
While it is a valid option, it is, IMO, a huge pain in the a$$. Not only do you have to remember to do it each time, but then you are prevented from getting in the trunk until you unlock the car and the glove box and flip the switch again. It also is not that secure, as a would-be thief would simply have to pry open the glove box and flip the switch, which seems like it would be much easier than prying open the trunk itself.
I prefer the route I've taken because I can still enter the car or the trunk w/o removing the fob from my pocket, yet a potential thief cannot get into the trunk w/o prying it open somehow.
Yikes! Elizabeth is indeed a pretty scary place.
