Just get a G35 sedan and build it with a monster nitrious oxide kit make sure you don't blow the engine though. Remove the backseat and passenger seat and all the tech and slap on some light wheels and racing slicks everytime you're at the track.

I didn't get any malware. Worked smooth for me anyways.

I've riden in a few WRX's older and newer ones what a cheap put-together car, esp. interior.

i happen to run into someone who has tuned there g35 to get about 4.3s. He said something about 3 inch pipes, high compression in his engine and a performance chip. Also something about an exhaust. He's going to show me his tuned chart tomorrow. If this is true, which i hope- i will be doing this minus the compression, he said i could get a turbo instead or supercharger. He has a friend who instead of cutting the engine to get high compression, they used piston arms whatever those are to get the same result but it is a little more expensive. I have officially decided to get an 08 g35. He said gas isn;t bad but its not great he gets about 17 city/hwy- i don't think thats too bad. thoughts?

I call BS as soon as someone starts talking performance chips to achieve 4.3 second runs in a 07+ sedan.

^ ^ +1

Also, the claim of "high compression" is worthless. I have yet to
see anyone make this claim, much less the fact that such parts are scarce and stupidly expensive.

I could be wrong, but no one to my knowledge has built, bored, or stroked an HR motor

he could be completely wrong, i have no idea. i have always thought chips were bs too but this guy insisted there were a few things that needed to be done to achieve that 0-60, but ill guess ill see for myself when i go and get my g35. im completely lost when people start talking car parts, i just want my car to go fast really with minimal effort- i know that asking for a bit too much but hey.

Inifiniti engineers did a great job of sqeezing as much power as they could from our cars.
Heck, even intakes lose power, not gain.
Nobody has ever found a chip that has enhanced our cars.

How's your friend getting these times anyway?
Is he watching the second hand of his watch or counting in his head, or did he get these times at a track? Ask for the track slips.

Also keep in mind, 5.2 seconds is NOT slow for a sedan like this.
4.x times, you're starting to get down into Supercar times.

++1!

My best 0-60 time on a straight road (courtisy of pocketdyno+) stands at 5.01seconds and sh%t's fast, but no vette by any means.

I know most of this is a joke, but wouldn't the sedan be faster than the coupe in this instance due to the weight difference? Sedan weighs ? lbs less than the coupe but has the same engine and in some cases a better one (07-08)

my answer to make a the claims that the Op wants to achieve with a 0-60 <5 sec. with a low budget and not going FI. then weight reduction!! (this will also boost MPG)

take out those heavy leather seats back and front. the dash with the heavy stereo and HDD and navi if you have it. and then you have left door panels and window modules. and that should help!!
