Rear lamp LEDs don't work? Burned out? (pic inside)

Hey guys did anyone have any problems with the rear light LEDs not working? Is that a sign of a burned out LEDs or perhaps some other reason? My right side brake LEDs don't work when I brake, and two of the LEDs there are not working with park lights on (all are on the same light).

Here are pictures to show you what I mean... Is there anyway to fix this, or new one required?

that's the picture when I press the brakes

this one is when the regular parks are on, you can see those two LEDs not working there.

One of my leds on my right side isn't working either. It's pretty annoying I made a post about it and most people said you would have to replace the whole assembly since you can't replace each LED. I'll probably bring it up to the service manager next time I go in and see if I can get it covered since I'm still under warranty.

yeah I see, let me know how it will go. Warranty suppose to cover that. I don't know if mine will be under warranty since mine is rebuilt.

^WHS you have to replace the whole led circle assembly form what iv heard as well, not the easiest thing, i would have the dealer fix it and if they dont do it under warranty due to your repairs then you can try cracking it open and try to replace some leds else you might just have to get a new rear assembly.

Now if they were working before and then went bad later, it could be an electrical issue that MIGHT have occurred due to the accident or repairs, i would check for an active wire touching the body somewhere.

Well I don't know if they worked before or not kool-Yaar. I just recently noticed it when i was driving at night. All LEDs are working great, it's just that one right side circle is messing up.

Maybe they don't burn out but they sure look like they die off lol. I had LED's on my Nissan and I replaced them before from getting burned out, they start blinking and fading away untill they are gone completely. If they don't burn out then what's wrong with them then??? on that one circle they are fading and blinking, looks like about to die off.

You can't replace these LEDs unless you take the light apart completely. I just bought a new one on Ebay for $ 65. I'll keep the old one for spare LEDs in the future.

BTW Soakgame, yeah if you're still under warranty make sure you take car of this. Use it as your advantage.

I think someone did Terrycs. I can't remember who it was, but I came across someone who did that. They said it's not worth messing with the light and it's easier just to buy another one. That's why i just about another used one on ebay for pretty cheap.
