Hey, has anyone here replaced the map or dome lights with leds in the 2007+ g35?? I did this and my doors do not lock until the lights fade out, I assume this is because the leds consume less power and the doors not locking is a warning for a burnt out bulb. anyone know of any leds that dont do this (consume more power) or a workaround?

I just ordered 4 25 watt load resistors .. maybe that will do the trick

 

I and lots of others have replaced these lights with LEDs. I've never heard of the not locking until after light dim. Mine does not do that, I can lock it anytime.

I have sold a few sets of LEDs to the newer sedans and havent heard of this issue.

I have all leds in my 2007 g35x and did in my 04 g35 coupe as well as just put them in our 2010 gt-r and have 0 issues. I will say the license plate leds fail after about two years, which is a pain, still unsure why but its happened with both g's.... must be temperature or weather reasons.

 

I am very content with V-LEDS check em out. I have never had a problem with them.

Tell us a little more about your problem, not sure if it'll help, but can't hurt. Are you trying to lock with FOB, door handle button inside or outside, or the +10 Mph rolling locking feature the +09s have?

I have all V-LEDS brand interior LEDs in my 2008 G35 sedan without any door locking issues.

hello everyone, what type of socket does our car have that the LED needs? I want to order from any of these sites but they are asking for a specific size number. Also if someone can recommend me an exact white bulb I would appreciate it. I am looking to replace the license plate bulb and dome lights. thanks.
