I finally got my 2008 g35 tinted today. I had the shop install the formulaone pinnacle series. I live near Dallas, so hopefully it will help with the summer heat. So far, it looks like they did a good job. And I asked for the third brake light to not be "cut out". I don't think they get asked that alot, but it definitely looks better to me. I'll try to get pics uploaded later.

Well, it was that ceramic stuff. Another shop with the Huper optic was quoting over $400. I don't like the look of the metalic tint, and I did consider the basic charcoal dyed tint. I hate the heat in Texas, so the advertisement of ceramic heat reduction sold it to me.

wow that is extremely expensive.. I just got mine done for 180! Also, 35% and 15% is a big difference, Cant you see it? I just got 15% on the back and 20% on the sides.. also, The place i got it done did not ask if i wanted the brake light cut out, they purposely went over it which I love!

I am in Houston
Just go my 08 G35 Tinted 20 % all around, its MEDICO Charcol Film, paid $100.00
its done by a guy who works in Tint Shop, but he also works his own and charges way too less then Overpriced Tint shop.

No bubbles or anything, super fine tint job

Tint made a world of difference.

whooooa! I'm sorry you had to pay that much, is that normal in Texas? I had mine done with a ceramic tint, 5% all around and a strip to a few inches below the AS-1 line for $150 and then a tip.

Hmmm, not sure if that is normal. I just bought an '08 sedan and was quoted $265 for 30% all around.

First post, I've just had the car about a week and love it. If anyone north of Dallas has any places to suggest, feel free.

Guys. He said it was ceramic tint, which is close to twice the price, and if he doesn't have a problem with what he paid, why should all of you?

Incidentally I have Formula One Pinnacle Ceramic tint on mine and absolutely love the stuff. Holds up so much better than mtallic or die tint.

Post up some pics when you get a chance... I'm curious to see how noticeable the difference is between the front and back windows.
