Remind me of doing service

How often do u guys change the engine oil ( with dealer)...
do u guys determine by time ?? or KM/mphs on the clock?? If so how long or how many ??

Also, for service, are they divided into ABC?? C cost a lot as a G friend told me??
also, how ofter do we need to take our car to service??

I have no idea about oil changing and services because I did almost everything outside of dealer for my previous cars....

THANKS

I keep up w/ my oil change every 5k w/ Mobil1. Since I put a lot of miles on my car, I don't really determine the duration by time but the amount of mileage. Since I do it every 5k, it's easy to realize when my next oil change is due.

You should also refer to your owner's manual for the recommended factory maintenance schedule. FYI I did my first maintenance service @ 30k. All fluids and filters were changed/replaced. I plan to do my next maintenance service @ 60k.

Hope that helps.

If the car is under warranty then follow the factory service manual for your car and keep records and reciepts if you don't have it done at the dealer. (I had an engine failure in my 2005 and I had a not-so-fun weekend going through credit card reciepts to back up my service log.) Dealerships make a lot of money on service, and they will push "premium" services and maintainance schedules. The maintainance schedules are online at infiniti.com.
