New here and some questions

Hey Guys, just got my 07 Black g35 Journey. Just want to say hi and thank you for all the info. you guys have put up on the forum, they are very useful after browsing almost all of them the last week or so.

just a couple questions:

I got my 07 journey with premium package, 36K for $20,995. It was a lease return that a non-Infiniti dealer bought. Good deal or decent deal? I thought it was good since it was below bluebook.

Second, I have been wondering about this for a while now. I haven't seen that many of the 2nd gen G on the road since they have came out. And you know how you usually see a lot more of them suddenly once you have have one yourself cause you start paying more attention? I don't though.
I live in Oregon, I see more of the 1st gen here since there are a good amount of them on the road. I just don't understand how people can pass up on the G when they are shopping in that sport sedan segment. It's as luxury as the rest, almost the fastest in the group, it's biggest in the class and for the money you pay it's the best value IMO.

I personally was looking at 328 and IS250. But found the G that has more power than those two and is a few thousands cheaper so I just test drove it and felt in love.

Welcome to the forum! Good choice on a ride, between the BMW and Lexus, and that seems like a good price for what you paid. Not sure of regional differences in demand, but here in the South you see a few more, but enjoy the ride.

Time to start modding it!

That's a pretty good deal, I paid $22,700 for mine with 31k miles (premium + Navi + tech) and I know mine was a great deal (KBB was $24-28k).

When I was shopping I noticed that I didn't see that many V36 Sedans either, but I'm always seeing V35 and V36 coupes. Now I'm seeing a good amount of G37 coupes and sedans. I think it was just the economy around 07-09 where people weren't buying quite as many new luxury cars, instead going for low mileage (which our car *isn't*).

IMO the G is more of a direct competitor for the 330i or 335i than the 328i. The interior and features on the 325/328i is weak compared to the G35. I've always thought of the IS250 as the female version of the IS350.

Welcome to the forums, enjoy the ride!

wow now that's a good deal, 1.7k more but lower mileage and with Nav and Tech.

I was looking at 328 and IS 250 because of my budget, I think they are competitors as far as the price goes, but of course the G has more power, room and just a better car overall, that's why after the initial test drive, I knew I have to get the G and I can save 5-6K on top, which is a lot.
