With $10,000...

...What would you do to your car?

Performance? Appearance? What type of mods would you do?

First ask your self- whats more important- looks or performance.
Personally i would do looks first, so that means some nice wheels- lip kit or body kit. Afterward definitely get a drop, full exhaust, and actually if you drive the car a lot and entertainment is a main then sound system including in dash, sub, and if wanted- speakers. (bose is good though)

I think id go with a bit of both. I know I want it to look nice, and hope to find a used one with a body kit already on it. At least get some rims, definitely. I want the sound to be nice, but I also want the car to have a lot of power.

Not sure if its possible to get all that with $10k, but just a thought.

You could definitely get all that I've mentioned with 10Gs. You may also be able to squeeze in plenum gasket, manifold, intake, and get comp flashed. All together with the exhaust you will gain quite a bit of power.

Down payment on an M3....LOL

Suggestions above are good, but consider that many changes to mechanicals will create maintenance issues that cannot be handled by any dealer. Also, resale value would be effected. However, changes to suspension, tires, and exhaust can be removed for resale if you kept the stock parts.

Spending 10 large on this car is not necessary to enjoy it everyday. For about half of that you could have a nice ride.

Since it already performs better than 99% (guessing) of the vehicles on the road and I have no desire to race around, I would also focus on the looks.

Where can you get a V36 TT kit installed (+ more stuff) for $10,000?
