Opinion on springs

I want to get some springs with a moderate drop, nothing to crazy that would tuck in. Considering I will be getting some wheels in the future. Some staggered 20". Tein S. sounds too low 1.9/1.8. Give me suggestions. Thank You

just search each company offer a different spring rate, I am in the same boat looking for a moderate drop and I have a staggered set up for my girl and need just a slight drop for the rears.

Add H&R to the list. I'm on eibachs and 20's (35f and 30r) and the ride is noticeably harsher than stock, just letting you know.

Take a look at Tein H-tech's ...
Im in the same boat as you. I want something that is as far as 'bad ***" as I can get without getting into the catagory of a harsh (ie: too harsh for dialy driving or long trips) ride.

I had Eibach's on my previous car ('99 GTP coupe) and the ride was so rough that I sold them and went to Progressive springs. They were also notorious on the GP's for the sag in the rear, which isnt AS bad on the Infiniti's.. but I still see it.

H&R are BY FAR in my opinion the best looking spring for the sedans.. but its also considerably lower than thier advertised drop specs of 1.4/1.3 (if I remember correct)

I ALMOST got the H&R anyway, but found some 03-06 Tein H's in the classifieds and went that route to save almost 150 bucks. (stated drop on those was (1.4/0.7)

Its hard to find pics of the gen2 sedans on the Tein H's but there are a few out there, and they looked nice in my opinion. maybe a quarter to half inch higher than the H&R, but still pretty level.

My Teins are suposed to be shipped today, so hopefully Ill have pics soon.

^^You're right about H&R the drop is definitely lower than advertised. The advertised drop is similar to what eibach states but hr are definitely lower than eibachs.

DF's are by far the lowest. The pro Kit gives it a very nice drop and keeps the ride stiff as well. Im on DF's right now and it's a bit too bouncy for me. Im also running them with tokico d specs and that helped.

Check this thread out. It will have every thing you need to know and gets updated quite often when new springs/coilovers were coming out.

Dont forget about this little gem that someone here did cataloging aftermarket wheels and springs... (attached)

Click the link and you basically see the car with the listed mods. (i forget who did that spreadsheet, but awesome job)

I never had a dropped car in my life..always had the rims and stuff--when i bought my coupe asked many people what to go with...my point of view here...the s-techs give the perfect drop...it doesnt tuck either---drives almost the same---u only feel the road more due to low profile tires...your only concern with the drop is if taking a large bump...but i was worried at the begining but now i would go a little lower if i could

DAMN!! I want some wheels exactly like this. Nice fit. Not too aggressive. Just sick!! Any rubbing issues?
