new g35 owner

i have a 07 g35 and was wondering what the DS is on the gear shifter
and i also seen it may have two different cruise controlls

DS is for Driving in Sport mode.
Your car has 3 forward driving modes Drive, DriveSport and Manual.
You should look in your owners manual. Pg 5-11

ok thanks but i did not get a manual with my car. does the drive sport make it shift firmer than just drive.
