Exclamation Nokya Yellow Fog fitting problem?

Hey guys, I was trying to install the Nokya Yellow 9006 bulb to my fogs. I was having a little hard time to get the stock 9006 light out, but after some jiggling, it came out.

However, when I tried to install the Nokya lights in, seems like I couldnt fit the light into the 3 leg fitting. After an hour of jiggling and pushing, I cannot turn and have it lock. At the end, I had to install the stock 9006 back in without a problem.

Am i doing something wrong here? Or Nokya lights do have a little fitting issue? Or anyone have any special way to get it in?

I was using this method to install.. http://krausewhatever.blogspot.com/2...s-in-2008.html it seems to work if the bulb would turn and lock..

Thanks guys!

You shouldn't have a problem with them, a friend of mine installed them with no problems.

Unhappy

Hmm then it's interesting. I put the new bulbs in exactly the way I took out the stock bulbs. I cannot make the Nokya bulbs to turn.

First I thought maybe I was not putting them in right. I grabbed the stock lights, install, and took it out back and forth couple times to make sure I was doing it right, sure did, not problem at all.

I tried it one more time with the Nokya lights, seems like it just wont sit in enough for me to turn and lock it.

Any thoughts?

Try comparing the notch on both bulb bases. They should be the same. I definitely think the quality control is a notch below on most aftermarket bulbs.
