i would go with the brake booster line since it will reach the entire engine and is easy to locate and use.

so i seafoamed the 2008 G35 yesterday using the main brake booster vacuum line... put 1/3 of the can in there and let it sit for about 30min before i started up the car. it smoked, but didnt smoke as much as my 2004 350z with the same mileage (and the 350z was properly maintained, using 91 gas only, and 95% highway driven). makes me wonder if the seafoam through the brake booster line only went to 1/2 of the engine on the G...

It's a 2008... I still don't get why you bothered with this.

kool_yaar 10-02-2010 03:24 PM

I am pretty certain it went to your entire engine since it goes through the plenum

87 gas since day one

^ ouch, I dont think I would ever run 87 on a G35 :(

_RR_ 11-06-2010 09:30 PM

i wouldn't be surprised if most g35 owners ran 87 :icon43:

93oct here. Not even 91. If I could run higher I would.

kool_yaar 11-07-2010 01:20 AM

93 all her life!

Q8y_drifter 11-07-2010 02:07 AM

Anyone tried half race gas mix in the tank? 93 + 100 ~ 96/97oct

Someone has to ask the stupid question. What is seafoam?

Seafoam is an Engine Cleaner that gets rid of deposits in your engine. It is usually done for cars that have high mileage. Someone before used Seafoam because he had rough engine idle and it fixed his problem. I would not recommend using seafoam on a car with lower mileages because it is a risky process and your car will give out error codes. Only use Seafoam at your own risk or with a professional car mechanic. Google is your friend.
