anyone has a post of DIY 08 Front Lip Install? i found one a month ago, but couldn't find it now.

I just installed the lip on my 08 Sport as well...and had the same issue with the template.
I used painters masking tape to align it where it should go...the marked the drill points...then threaded the holes...
Then started on one side and mounted. I just made certain the lip was EXACTLY where it whould have been and taped properly before drilling.

NON recommended Lip Install DIY: Snap on the lip securely without unmasking the tape, then install all the screws, loosen them unmask the tape and snap back on and tighten screws, took me about 10-15mins and the install was perfect without any use of the template!

thank all....this afternoon i got the lip installed! i gave up on the template and decided to just put the lip on and use the holes on it as template for drilling. Similar to what Kool descrided above!

^ nice! im glad it turned out well for you! i think thats the best and easiest way of doing it but never recommend it cause i dont want ppl blaming me if they mess up trying to install it without the template
