Finally got to black out my window trim!!!

I ordered a bunch of matte black vinyl from sticker city and did it myself.. It was actually really easy.. I did the driver side only for now.. passenger side tomorrow!

Hey i was gona get it painted but i heard that it will peal after ahwile.Did u have to take it off to do the vinyl,Also do they have a shiny black instead of the flat black thanks bro im really looking foward to doing this im trying to black out my whole car

thanks, and I dont think its worth plasti dipping it.. The vinyl is really easy.. it took me 2 hours to do the whole driver side!

This and the headlights are the last thing to black out on mine!.. they do make gloss yes. And I did not take off the trim to wrap it.

alright cool how much did u order,caus eim about to order mine now,its alot cheaper then painting it lol.24x 12 enought or should i order more

I got 24" x 48" but I really wish I got one size bigger.. you end up using allot more than you would think because on the curved parts you don't want to have to bend a thin strip, you want to cut a piece that covers the whole area and trim it to the curved shape.

any really closeup pics to show the finish and how nicely it attaches? So do you just stick the vinyl on and cut with a blade or something along the chrome?
Also, where'd you order from? Thanks.

did you have to overlap it to get it to curve with the window, if now how is this achieved

looks good but you should have went with glossy it would have matched the B pillars better

Or, you could cover the B pillars for a more uniform look.

And it looks really good.

looks real good, I got mine done by a shop but he didn't do it so well around the bends, I might have a go myself.
