3 dilemas

1. i took my front licence plate frame off and there are big ugly holes AND big obvious indentions from idiots putting the screws in sideways<pic below>. its ugly and i almost want to put a plate back on.
any ideas to fix this..? would it be cheesy to put a black plate on with the infiniti logo or something?

2. i love the ionic grill, i think it makes the g look mean as hell. but i've found it looking a little bare.<pic below> i was gonna put the infiniti emblem on it but i also thot of maybe putting the IPL or GTR badge off to the side instead. opinions?

3. i blacked out the crome trunk lip and the mt fuji on the back and thot about doing the tail lights or at least partially(leaving dual circles in red and smoking the rest). some of my friends thot smoking taillights is outdated or kinda riceburner... whatta yall think?

lower it, get different wheels and go back to the oem grill. Love the color though!

 

Considering the other mods you have already done from the pics IMO the smoked taillights wouldn't be out of date or ricer. It depends on how dark it is and the design. I'm not sure, but it looks like you already painted the inside of your headlights. If that's the case then you gotta do your taillights too. It looks like you have pretty much de-chromed your G so, smoking your taillights wouldn't be out of place.

 

im shopping around for springs right now. thats my next step forsure. i like my wheels tho,, i think it goes with the look i am going for. i think the oem grills are kinda ugly myself and i definetely dont like the shinny crome color.

 

car looks nice, i would still smoke the lights GTR style(leaving the circles) and put the infiniti logo on the grill.

 

Oh and also a rear valance overlay, and that should complete the mean look

I wouldn't put any other emblem on the front other than the Mt. Fuji.

Smoked tails are pretty ricey, but a lot of people seem to like it.

It's all personal preference. Build the car how you want it because in the end, you're the one driving and enjoying it.

 

and I agree, the wheels look weird.

 

thnks again but im not changing wheels right now. i'll prob stick with just the mt fuji on the grill but deff not going back to the ugly crome oem grill that does not match my car at all.

i drive this car everyday alot around the city on bad roads so i dont want to lower is too much. any recomendations??

your car though... consider blacking the OEM grill out? or maybe blacking out the center bars.

 

Maybe if it was blacked out. I like the ionic grill tho.. I just need to put the emblem on it. It'll look better when I drop it

 

That grille reminds me of civics!! I don't like wheels. I sprayed two light coats Night Shade. I love it. Check picture. It looks a bit darker in person.

 

1) Get some plugs, spray them and put them on. There should be some threads about that...
2) I like the OEM grill better. Don't get a IPL or GTR badging because your car isn't either one of them.
3) Don't do the GTR or tinted tail light look. It looks like **** to be honest and it makes a luxury sedan look awful.
