tire valve stem

True, I got new wheels and tires. The tire shop just reused my old TPMS sensors/valve stems without any problems. FYI, just make sure they remove the TPMS sensor correctly. I saw a you tube video where the technician accidentally snapped off the TPMS sensor while removing the tire from the wheel. Check out this video at about 1:20 to see what happened. Notice how he was breaking the bead on the tire exactly where the valve stem is.

If you are just replacing the tires and didn't have a leak, you don't even half to touch the tmps. Make sure they don't charge you for valve stems or tmps servicing. Down the line, it might be worth it to have the servicing done which involves removing the tmps and replacing the sealing 0-rings.
