I don't think they forgot to put the paddles back in, because there would be a hole in the plastic on the column where they used to be. The plastic surround on the column is different with and without paddles.

The car has an S badge, and sport seats, but regular brakes and no paddles, so something is up. Why not run the VIN and check it out?

On my 07 Journey with Sport wheels: 225 in front, 245 in rear.

VIN says sport package. But obviously it isn't.

So what is it missing besides the paddles and wider rear tires? The paddles could gave been taken out if the previous owner wanted. If you took over the plastic around the column you could see if the connections for the paddles are free, or wrapped up in foam and tape like they are from the factory on non-sport models.

I have seen this car in person and according to the tech at Taylor Infiniti the VIN number says it has a "sport appearance package." meaning wheels, bumper, badging, and seats. It does NOT have paddle shifters, aluminum pedals, sport brakes, or a viscous diff.

I didn't realize that was an option, makes sense I guess... some of the perks of the sport package without the harsher ride.

I have never heard of a sport appearance package. Just performance wheel and tire pack.

Sport appearance pkg did not exist.

That car has too many question marks, and I would pass on it.

Sport pkg has 13.0 rotors and larger calipers.

"S" Calipers also have "Infiniti" cast in the shell.

Well, apparently, it exists now at the very least...

of course, the second one says the package comes with paddle shifters.

Yeah, I'd say this car is too sketchy to lay down thousands of dollars for.

I think you're confusing that with the auto having the S pkg. cause the 6mt is standard sport, while the auto is journey with S pkg. and that site is calling it the appearance pkg.
