New Member Introduction! Just purchased 2008 G35 Journey

Hey everyone, just posting to introduce myself. I just purchased my first car ever, quite a memorable moment. It is a 2008 G35 Journey in PG w/Nav. My car before this was a 2007 Lexus IS350 that I leased (in my bro's name) when I was 17 years old, all in all it was a great car but it was a lease and sadly I had to let go. This is my new baby and I actually own it so hopefully I can keep it for a very long time. I don't have any pics but it has low miles (21k) and it still feels like new. Overall I will say that from 0-60 the IS350 is the clear winner, but passed 80mph and in handling the g35 wins for sure. The mod bug has already started and I've already changed all the interior lights to LED's. Next, I will be dropping the car on H&R Sports and be putting my 19" Maya MRS from my IS350 onto the g35 for now until I get some 20's. I'm looking forward to getting acquainted with all of you here on G35Driver and perhaps meeting some of you at meets in the socal area.

Here is a pic of my old car (rims will be going on the G):

welcome and congrats on owning ur first car without having to worry about how many miles you drive a year or how you mod it! The IS350 seems to be moderately modded but it is quite tasteful so i can only imagine how you will mod your G. In for pics after you put on the rims and springs.

tell me about it! i was allowed 36k but drove 39k, charged me 1400 for overages

I have many plans for the vehicle, including a full vinyl wrap and perhaps a 2010 front swap

I'm already lovin the smiley collection on here compared to ClubLexus

lol there's always better. i am just sick of how stock the G looks. eventually maybe 6 months from now I want to get some 20's i'm thinking the forgiato maglia's in carbon fiber finish with gloss black lip. Once i get those i will be vinyl'ing the entire car matte gray. (ie frozen gray)
