winter gas, air pressure, heavy foot, added weight to vehicle, you gained weight, check air filters, oil change, swapped wheels and tires...all this can play a factor in mpg

lets not turn this into a avg mpg thread.

colder air = denser air = more fuel = worse mileage

5 min warm up alone is wasting gas.

Bingo! We have a winner. I read a good article awhile ago about the difference in Fuel between summer and winter months.

If I lived in So Cal I wouldn't be warming up my car.

Have u ever lived anywhere that gets below zero?

The 5 mins of wasted gas is well worth it.

It takes about 10 mins 4 the heated seats and the heater to fully kick in.

^lol your funny!

Bad MPG comes from driving in the city w/ all the stop lights and stop signs. I notice this when i drive in the city i get about 16. what ever. When i am on the freeway it goes up 19+ MPG

Yea I've only had mine since 5 Nov and always got 18.9 - 19.4 city driving and recently I started getting 17.8 MPG with the same style driving. I'm not pissed off by it since i traded an 06 Yukon Denali 13.7 MPG for this. Ha-ha
