We got a good amount of snow over the past two few days. While driving around town I have snow mode on and the slip light rarely appears. When I want to have fun I leave snow mode on and take off VDC. I find that without snow mode and vdc on together, the car is too unpredictable and I have had too many close calls. With them both ON is the only way to go when driving a little careless in the snow.

I'm out in pa and haven had snow this year. But with snow on I can't break it loose. Snow off and vdc off and I can get it sideways ( snow, rain and dry if the road is right). Those videos look like you were having fun. I hope you got this fixed.

Sounds to me like its a simple solution, don't turn VDC off if you want the best AWD performance. Can't say I'm suprised.

I tried VDC off today in the snow and the back end was stepping out a lot. VDC on with snow mode was solid in the snow. Felt like I was on dry pavement.

Yeah I def hit a curb today because of an ice patch. Luckily it was at <5 mph and did no more damage than a scuffed wheel and a tiny bit of OEM rim dmg. I cried a lttle (inside.... okay maybe outside a little too).

Lol turning VDC you are asking for the rear end to slip out. I have been through ohio, and Jersey snow and i can tell you, you really need to crank the wheel and step on it in order to get the rear to slip out. Get better tires lol

We got a solid 4-5 inches in the Boston area yesterday. With VDC on, you don't really need snow mode. The car accelerates fine and doesn't really have issues with slippage.

On the hills, I used snow mode and it climbed well. Stopping however was a different issue. It must be my all season tires because stopping was hard.

^+1. I don't think "Climbed Well" does it justice. With snow mode on it will "climb amazingly".
