Thinking of trading in for 2011 Mustang GT
New 2011 mustang gt is very very nice.... Titan motorsports was experimenting with a 2010 5.0... Also the sync System is the slickest oem multimedia system out there today... I love my G ... But this Ford will make your other G buddies jealous
^What year Mustang are we talking? A Foxbody? Those are probably one of the biggest performance bargains available.
If you are comparing apples to apples then on a 2011 Mustang vs a used 09+ Vette. My dads Vette was the same price as a new Mustang with 11k miles. And it will smoke that mustang every day, stock.

please dont let this thread go down the well if you bought this car for xxx amount and put xxx amount of dollars into it it would smoke xxx car.
I think the number one thing you need to look at is what are you going to use the car for? going from a 4 door sedan to a 2 door basically 2 seater is a big change (coming from a mustang to a G35 myself) the Mustang was more Raw power and just obnoxous. (with the mods i had) the G was alot more refined and more of a car for my age.
the only problem with the mustangs that i have seen is in about 4 years when they become very affordable you will start to see chromed out rims, fake side vents, neon lights, Giant stickers, crappy body kits, etc etc.... i feel it takes away from the credibility of the brand.
I almost traded my Mustang up for a new one, but that was one of the reasons i didnt. (plus i wanted 2 more doors)
I had my 03 GT for 6 years and absolutely loved it, if the 5.0 came out when i was in the market for a new car there is a 75% chance i would have traded up as well, but im not sure if i could ever go back from where im at now.

I am more of a Camaro fan than Mustang. I must say though, both the new Camero's and Mustang's do look nice. However, I have never owned either. I looked at the new M3s, and well, I would get the coupe in a heartbeat...but my little 5 month old told me otherwise. So, I am feeling the new Audi S4s! Good luck to you though.

I am pretty sure that is my next car the B8 S4, test drove one yesterday. Either that or a 335i/diesel M-Sport. It really depends on what gas does this summer. The S4/335i get 28 highway and the audi is still AWD. The 335d get 38 highway, yet still has 425lb/ft of torque.

I totally feel you, the Mustang is a boy racer. I had that part of my life, now I want refined fast sporty luxury. Thats why even tho the stang is "quicker" then a M3 I would rather have the M3.
Problem with mustang too is that every High School kid drives the v6 models and they look too similar
. A vette, m3, and even a G is more sophisticated. Its hard to go back on refinement. It's like drinking a mad dog 20/20 in high school and drinking Makers Mark now. They both get the job done, but can we ever go back to Mad Dog?
