Just got an 08 G35x a few months back, so far i've only changed the oil.

Was wondering how much I should expect to get charged to get the air filters replaced and transmission fluid changed? Will there be any price diff going to nissan vs infiniti dealer?

Infiniti wanted $200 for drain and $260 for flush. Air filters are easy and you can find them for cheap online

I use Wix air and oil filters (Rockauto.com) - both significantly less expensive and work as good as/better than OEM. Use Fram Fresh Breeze charcoal in-cabin filter (Amazon.com) for same reason. You need Nissan Matic-S (dealership) for tranny fluid, and Nissan Matic-D for transfer case and 75W90 gear oil (synthatic) for the front and rear differential.

I'm making the transition from Maxima.org with a 2007 G35S in my sights fairly soon. Can we use synthetic tranny fluid such as Redline or Amsoil? thx
