2012 g

I wonder if a redesigned G will be coming this fall. Any rumors or details out there on a new design?

Yep, it'll be exactly like the 2011. Heck they just redesigned the thing, so don't expect anything for a while.

^ whs, especially with the new front fascia and new rear bumper and the intro of the new G25 all in a short interval, i would expect no major change in the next 2 years even.

The first body was only 4 years, 03,04,05,06.
The current body is 07,08,09,10,11.
Thats already 5 years besides minor changes, like the front bumper.
I think it will be 2012 for a redesign.

The 4 door changed in 07. which mean that redesign.
The 2 door changed in 08. which mean they are not gonna changed it in 2012.
Keep in mind they just started the performance division so it's not gonna.

Don't forget they are readying the hybrid, too.

Infiniti is known for 5-7 years before changes. So I say around 13 for a complete redesign.

Spoke with a tech guy there who said his family friend is in the loop for the new IPL... we were bashing on how crappy the perfomance for performance line is

then he told me they are considering 3.5L twin turbo for the next IPL coupe. but thats after they do IPL for the M and FX

I really doubt we'll see a 2012 model year redesign. If that was the case, we'd probably have already seen a concept by now. I'm guessing 2013, or even 2014.

How many of you think that they are going to change the body style?

I never put any faith in what those magazines put out. Most of the time they are just speculation and bad photochops of current vehicles.

Until we see an actual spy shot or hear from Infiniti/Nissan on the next gen-G; we'll just have to assume nothing will change in 2012.
