If you end up with the "S", don't worry about replacing the springs. I think if you went any stiffer than what it is, you might be 2" shorter than you are now because of spinal compression. It's very tight already. I would like to have a lower stance, but I'm not willing to sacrifice the ride. JMHO

Plus you'll get the thigh-bolster seats, bigger brakes w/ much nicer-looking calipers, LSD, shift paddles, and the red "S" on your tail
At least the 17" 07,08, & 09 rims aren't as butt-ugly as the 2010/2011 rims, the rim designer for those years should be beaten, or at least sent to the boiler room. All the new rims except for the coupe that is, even the new sedan S wheels are fugggly!

Crap, I was concerned about that. I plan on putting aftermarket 19 or 20's (depending on style) and I hate that 'stock wheel gap' appearance esp. w/ aftermarket wheels. Just looks incomplete. Had heard that the S ride was much stiffer than non-S.

Not looking for any difference in stiffness (in fact would prefer none), just for aesthetics. Is there a solution out there for that? Anyone know what the spring rates are for Eibach as compared to stock S springs? (getting off topic sorry)

The upgraded brakes aren't available until '09.

Didn't the 08 come with 18 inch rims by default?? I thought my 35x had those....

I could be wrong but I thought the 07-08 Sports had larger 13" rotors (over the non Sports) and in 09 the Sport got 14" rotors with upgraded calipers. So technically the brakes on the 07-08 Sport are still upgrades.
