Exclamation ICC woes.. CC doesnt work at all!

Well, the ICC deffinitely doesnt work, at all, and it also prevents the CC from working, at all. If I turn on the cc when parked it will work (only normal cc not icc) but if I try to turn it on while driving I get the beep with cruise light BUT ALSO the tire pressure light comes on.

Now first off, the tires have the correct psi. Next, I have cleaned the beam sensor, it does not appear to be altered or damaged etc. and Lastly, I have NOT gotten the TSB update or anything of the sort, mostly because I have heard of new problems arising after the update was done.

So here is the real problem now, the car is currently at the dealership and there is a matter of a couple hundred miles left on the warranty!! They are already giving us the usual dealership run around (because the car belongs to my mom and she brought it in and we all know how a dealership service ***** treats a lady)..

My question is what is the best solution to get the cruise control to back up and running, and more prefferably with the ICC intact as well. I am about to say lets just get the TSB update done, may as well.. but I havent heard anything about that curing any ICC problems, or CC problems for that matter..

I really need a solid answer and ASAP so I can get the dealership to fix this problem before the warranty is gone..

P.S. - just so I am clear, the TSB is the same fix for the non linear throttle response, CORRECT? I know its for the CC surging down hills, but not 100% if its for the throttle response as well..

What's the dealer saying? Can they replicate the issues? If they can then they have to look into it. IPB sucks, I'd personally drive it sawgrass and get it fixed there.

It is at sawgrass currently, buddy there is saying that because the front tires are different sizes, which its a 5mm difference (225/50 instead of 225/55) that, that is causing it to malfunction, of course he tells this to my mother, who was skeptikal.. I almost had a stroke when she told me that was his reasoning, because ofcourse the sensor has alignment adjustments!
Other thing was that he says you can use the normal cruise control at anytime by clicking the cruise button twice, which I am pretty damn sure will just cause it to turn on then off..

Is this on your sc coupe or is this a different car? What year? Speak to the master tech and get his opinion. Something sounds off.

nope that car is sadly long gone, but my mom got the 07 sedan.. I may have to find the time to get over there, but I have a tight schedule these days and right now the plan is to try and get them to do the TSB updates, if they dont play ball I will be going in there for sure. just wish I had a decent idea of what the real problem is with the ICC.
If the alignment is off would it immediately malfunction with the cruise & TPS light coming on? I wouldnt think so but..
