2007 infiniti g35 sedan gas mileage

any ideas for improving gas mileage on a 2007 g35 sedan?
i'm getting about 365+ miles on a full tank and thats mostly on the express way back and forth from work. i feel i should be topping 400miles per tank easy.
do grounding kits help at all?

Thats decent for these cars. If i hit 400 a tank im lucky.

A lighter foot is about all that helps and making sure your maintenance is upto date. I think theres a thread dedicated just to mileage these get and what people average.

^+1 There's not much mod-wise you can do to increase MPG. Fully utilizing all 20 gallons, at 20mpg, you're at 400m/tank.

FWIW, here's my old post about it - https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sed...ds-vs-mpg.html

Driving style has more to do with changing your mileage, if i really try, i can get 24mpg, but it's really boring driving the G like that, and i'm not a particularly aggressive driver either.

I'm between 20-23 and i'm short shifting plus doing a fair amount of interstate. I'd love to get the book predicted 26-27 MPG but i probably can't do 80 mph on the interstate either.

Yeah...when you buy these cars...MPG should go out the window. The car is just built to hit the pedal and go..which is a no no on mpg. Luckily my wife drives it and she's a slow lane gal..haha

Just wait till we get an extra 5% of ethanol in our gas.

we already get 10% ethanol in MOST of the gas stations here and the mileage drop SIGNIFICANTLY!! there are only a few that still offer ethanal free gas so i try to get it from there but every now and again im stuck with the mix and it just kills me!

Yeah, 10% sucks. Part of me wants to hoard it before they switch over to 15%.

Shell V-Power in the Houston area used to be the few Ethanol-free gas in the area, but now they put stickers on it saying it has 10% of the corn stuff now.

well, you did buy a luxury sports car. If you wanted to have good MPG, prelude, civic, or corolla.
