Oh man, sorry to see this man. How fast were you going? Was it raining or you just hit a puddle on the ground?

Glad to see you're ok. Car looks salvageable. When it rains I usually creep on the streets. What caused you to hydroplane?

Thank you...

It was raining lightly, as I approached an overpass and lost control on the bridge. The pavement on the bridge isn't level, hit a small dip, then a puddle and struck the rail! Went sideways, hit the guardrail at about 40-45mph.

Progressive will call me tomorrow with info. I was able to drive the remaining 20miles home with nothing abnormal, no lights came up, the airbag didn't deploy.

Salvageable?

that sucks.... I actually have witness this. Just like you said it. I remember it use to happen to me all of the time with my Eclipse GsT (FWD). When it rains just stay away from the center guard rails. Good luck with the repair. And no it does not look salvaged.

I say, CONVERSION!! Glad you are okay. You are lucky you weren't driving with my tires which they are completely bald! No thread left. They look like slicks!

Don't be scared...haha. Depends on how much you get from insurance to repair your car, you may not be that much out of pocket. It would be the best time to do it, just something to consider.
