Do people normally tune these cars or are they pretty much good from the factory?

But its more like 15/20. I'm sure the difference between advertised MPG and real world non-awd would be about the same difference.

This car isnt for u if u want to save gas lol
The 2007-08 G35X is rated at 17/23.

I'm 6'3", will I fit in the car ok? I've never been in one.
You will definitely want to give it a test drive or at least sit in it. My brother-in-law is 6'2" and had to recline the seat back more than he'd like to keep his head from touching the headliner. He did say he had a long torso though. I'd say I have an average length of torso and I'm 6'0" and do not have more than a couple inches of head clearance when sitting in an ideal position.

I went by and looked at the car today, it was nice but had some flaws, and they couldn't come up enough on my truck to make it worth while. I definitely do like the car, though. I'm thinking of selling the truck privately, and with that put more down on a car.

Thanks for the info you've all supplied, it was very helpful.

I'm pushing 6'5" and I fit in my 07 G35X very comfortably. Not an issue at all. I wish the seat tilted back a little more for more thigh support but other than that, no issues. The Sport model as adjustable thigh support in the driver's seat which is nice. Two average size adults will fit in back just fine as long as front passengers don't slide seats all the way back.

I am 6'2" and fit just fine. Wish the steering wheel would telescope further nad I don't like the feel of the gas pedal, but don't feel claustrophobic in the car at all.

The gas pedal is finnicky on my 07 X. Very poor progression from a stop. Hard to avoid lurching forward. You're either sitting there and doing a snap start. I've heard there is a TSb and some sort of reprogramming but I've also heard it doesn't help much. You do get used to it and learn to finesse it a little.

^ the TSB works as described, although to this day i regret having it. The dealership applied it without me knowing and there's no going back.

FYI, that's a G35 Base with no options and no sunroof. That's good for a couple inches of headroom.

Also FWIW, I bought my '08 G35 Base with 38k back in August 2010 for $20k.

How far back are you tilted? That can't be an ideal driving position.

Good point, that should help a bit.

I'm 6'7" and the G35 is one of the few cars I fit in comfortably! Why? Because all the newer cars are coming out with wide center consoles which doesn't allow my long *** leg to flop over. Instead, they jam my knee. That's why I have a G instead of an M (which has a wider console).
Headroom is too tight to wear a baseball cap, but otherwise it is ok.
Also, the seats fit my back good--unlike some Acuras where the seat itself is too short or narrow.
They do make them without sunroofs, but I need my G's loaded!!
