any tsb to get the shifter **** replaced due to cosmetic wear?

I only touch my shifter **** with the palm of my hand, it blows my mind that the silver part is beginning to rub off

anyone know what im talking about? it's like a dull, gray plastic color under. If the steering wheel and door grabs peel, I dont see why this shouldnt be covered..

i'll post pics later. Let me know if you have this problem too

No tsb, its all dependent upon your dealer really. Take a shot at it and you might succeed like some or fail like many If they dont do it then i suggest buying the M45 ****(same price as G **** ~$90-100) to replace to avoid it from happening again since its full leather and goes better with the interior imo.

My ****, after 3+ years of almost constant M Mode use was flawless when I installed my M45 ****.
I don't know how people wear these things out. You must have sandpaper palms!

I sold mine here to another member, and it was in great shape when I let it go...

/\... true.
I use a very gentle touch when touching my **** and polish it quite often.
I'm never rough on my **** and therefore, my **** always looks shiny and new.

If you wear any rings or jewelry like bracelets, etc.. you will run into these issues. All of the damages I have on my **** were done by the dealers whenever I took my car in for warranty services.
