I've been having a problem with my stock car alarm for the past few weeks, and it's been especially worse the past couple nights. Basically the alarm will just randomly go off - sometimes 4 or 5 times in a span of 20 minutes, and usually it's in the middle of the night. I'm assuming it's a loose sensor in a door or the hood (not sure what the sensors look like though), and I'm planning on taking it to the dealer asap.

Unfortunately I don't have time to take it in for another week or so and was wondering if anyone knew of a way to disable the alarm from activating but still have the doors lock (because it's parked outdoors). I tried just locking the doors from the inside and not using the key fob, but the alarm still activated.

Any help would be really appreciated. I'm afraid I might bash my car in a fit of 4 am sleepy stupor.
