i know what you mean its a pain!! you will need to use clay bar to get them off if theyy are moderate and if they still dont come off then you might have to use a polish to get em off.

99% of the time wash->clay->wash->wax works great at times you might wanna throw in a polish after clay.

Yea, whs, wash put in the shade to cool while drying it. Try to use a cleaner wax as it will better help in getting rid of the water spots. Deffinitely work on getting rid of them soon or else they will be harder to remove if they sit in the sun for a extended period of time.

^ oh ya i forgot about that, like pattyballs said try some cleaner wax first, its easier to use than clay and can take out light water spots if it doenst work then proceed to clay

thanks guys! i'll try the polish method first and see what happens.

42N8one - why wait? just invest in a electric polish and do it yourself? it is only $39 from Amazon! :-)

They will

OP, Try a wax with some polishing oils in them, such as NXT 2.0. If the water spots are etched into your clear you need some polish to remove them. You could also buy some SwirlX and a applicator pad and work on them they should come right off easily.

Yea, uh what ever your looking at is junk, a entry level polisher is ~150+

Then you need to buy pads and polish..ect

You can do it by hand. It should not take too much to remove some light water etching.

Advance Auto > Buy Swirl X and Applicator pads> Apply a few dots and try it out.

Car needs to be dirt free for this.

Also- ALWAYS wash your car in the shade. Make sure your car is cool as well.

^ polish also works on the trim and windows, that's what I used. But if you use polish on glass you need to do a IPA wipedown and make sure there is no polish left on the glass
