I've seen several threads on products to repair headlights that are hazing, fading, yellowing, or cracking...

But what products can you recommend for preventing this from happening?

Is there any kind of product that can be applied to the lens that will prevent UV from deteriorating the surface?

Do the clear lens shields (XPEL, 3M, etc.) that are applied prevent this?

 

^ not sure if the shields work, if they block UV, I guess they do.


I have been applying Wax to mine weekly to bi-weekly. I want to make sure there is enough UV protection on them.
