Just joined the brotherhood

Hi Guys and Gals
I've been looking @ your site and like it the best out of all I've previewed. It has been quite informative and answered alot of my questions. I am about to receive an 07 black G35 6MT sport with less than 40mls. I live in CO andThis is my 1st RWD car so any of you guys in snow states with all season tires give me a heads up.

I'm also interested in finding out more info on the recalls do to the clutch slave cylinder and key fobs. any info much appreciated. I will cont to look over more threads for info and will contact a local dealer when the car arrives.

Thanks for contributing to a great site! Cheers
V.

welcome and congrats! looks like you've already done some preliminary research on the car's tsbs/recalls. The slave cylinder recall and new key fob should have already been done on the car if its at 40k and has been to the dealer after the recalls were announced, however you can confirm this at the dealer, if its been done then it will be in their system else you can request for it and they have to do it since its Infiniti approved voluntary recall. The slave cylinder has a different part number than the old one.

Both of these "recalls" are voluntary so you have to ask the dealer to do em if its not already done but are luckily a no fuss service by most dealers since they are reimbursed by infiniti no questions asked. hope this helps.

Share pics when the car is in and enjoy the ample amount of info and helpful folks on this site!

Thanx Guys I'll get some pics when it arrives. I live in Pueblo about 1/2hr south of Colorado Springs and 100mls south of Denver. About 45min from the mountains and 1 1/2hrs from the nearest ski resort. The weather here is pretty mild, so I hoping I will be ok with the right tires. I've only owned FWD and 4WD's before.
