Dome Light gone bad!

Hey guys my dome light driver side gone bad. It blew a fuse all of a sudden. I then changed the fuse and then the light wont turn on right. There is some sort of bad contact somewhere. I took the whole thing apart and seems like the problem is within the on/off button.
Now it seems like I need a new one, and the question is do I need a complete new dome light assembly or I can get that switch inside of it somewhere???

I tried looking for the complete dome light and no luck, can't find it anywhere tried infinitipartonline.com catalog and same luck there

ANYONE had any experience with it, any help???

as far as I know they dont sell it by its self you have to get the whole assembly, best way is to get a used one on ebay i got mine for 35 bucks, new its over 100 i bet (coupes and sedans are the same)

thats what i had to do.

yeah that's exactly what happened to me as well. I was swaping the LED bulbs and all of the sudden I blew the fuse, then after I replaced the fuse the driver side lamp/switch doesn't work right ... I guess the only way to avoid this problem is to disconnect the battery like the service manual says. Everytime you work on something electrical they say you have to disconnect the battery. ... but I don't know how could I brake the switch or make the light work improperly!???

Also guys today i drove a Nissan Rouge and noticed that most new Nissans and Infinities share the same design dome light. I guess that should be much easier to replace and finding one used.

Also I can't find anything on ebay, car-parts.com or infinitipartsonline.com nothing/no results =(
