WOW i was just thinking about doing this the other day and wondered if anyone did it. IMO, it definitely looks better than the tacky black plastic weave pattern on our non sports, since the spots are just too damn big and are an eye sore

please snap some pics of the process if you have time, cause a lot of us non sport people would benefit

also, do you think we can just cut it out without removing the bumper or are there some wires/reservoir behind the fake vents?

It would be a lot better doing it with the bumper off, you still gotta attach the mesh! Plus, you don't want to mess anything up, imaging hitting the radiator or anything like that by accident!! Fudge no!!! It would be a cleaner job with the bumper off too. I am still looking for a good looking mesh!

lol my show n go unit got taken by the police haha, they went nuts when they saw it and wanted to keep it (I don't care since they let me off with no points or fines)

I got the mesh from a local car detailing shop here, it's nothing special, I just tried to find one with a similar pattern to the OEM holes but smaller.

As for installing, I'd say take the bumper off if you want to do it right. It makes things a million times easier and you don't have to worry about messing up anything.
