Clearance/Parking Lights will not work?

I've been having problems for about the past 2 weeks. I bought white LED's for what my Infiniti's owners manual calls clearance lights on my 2007 G35x. When I installed them one never lit up and the other stayed on for about an hour or two and then would not come back on. I purchased new bulbs from a different seller and now niether one of them will work or any other bulbs for that matter(License plate bulbs) Bulbs #2827 and #168 are the same wedge bulbs correct? There's no way that I received #168 bulbs that will not work on a recomended #2827 right? Could this be a blown fuse and if so which ones should I check? When are these clearance lights suppose to be on? Thanks

i believe the parking leds are 194/168 the thing with leds is that they must have right polarity when installed, if you flip the bulb it should work if the bulb and harness is fine. If the led is installed correctly then it could be a fuse in foot well on the driver side, the cover has guide of which fuse is for what to help you.

Can anyone tell me if there was a resolution to this problem? i am experiencing the exact same thing. i took out the LED's and replaced them with the stock lights and they still don't turn on. i checked the fuses near the car battery as well as the fuse box near the clutch pedal and i didn't see a fuse for these lights. Can someone chime in with their thoughts? Thanks

i have also tried several different leds and all of them went out within a few weeks.... have you tried going back to the oem bulbs to see if the outlet still works?

Have you ever verified that there's power to the socket?

There's no power going to it so I figured I blew a fuse, but I can"t find the fuse for these lights.

Got a pic of the fuse location or what else it's called? I saw nothing in either of my fuse boxes on my 08 that would relate to these lights.

I am now having the same problems. Both of the clearance lights are not working.

I replaced one with a 6000K LED - but nothing. I noticed the original was amber and it was in fact burnt out (filament was severed). When the 1st didnt work, I did not mess with removing 2nd wheel. I will do this again tomorrow and switch the bulb to see if polarity was the problem. I am also going to check the "clearance" fuse to see if something is up there (I'll just replace it regardless) - but since I found this thread - I will post tomorrow after I do replace the bulbs so it may help others. When do these lights normally come on ?

Clearance from what ?
