minor shaking when stopped at lights
minor shaking when stopped at lights
I currently own an 08 g35. Since the purchase when I stop at red lights I feel the car shake for a bit. Its a small shake, it feels like it might be the fans coming on to cool the engine. I owned an 03 g35 coupe before this and that car never did anything like this. Does anyone else feel the same shake? And is it normal? Thanks for any help!
Sounds like you may need a grounding kit... = )
I think that is from the compressor.... I dont have that exact problem but at night when I use the window switches i can get the lights to dim..
Pretty sure the grounding kit will solve your issue.
I am just waiting to get mine...

i get it now and then, but it's hard to reproduce.
seems to happen more often if the pavement is lumpy/warped, so maybe it's drivetrain vibration in the differential working its way up the driveshaft to the engine and making the motor mounts wiggle?

Does ur rpm go down and come back up while this is going on? If so, it's not a grounding kit issue... its a dirty throttle body. There's a massive 15 page thread on it... it happens to 07 and 08 because it takes about 2 years for the carbon to build up. Good luck reproducing it, I have an appt tomorrow and the service rep told me if it can't be replicated they wont clean the TB. I have a feeling it wont happen for me when I want it and ill end up cleaning it my self... which I don't wanna do.
The thread is called DIY CLEAN YOUR THROTTLE BODY.
