Tirerack backorder Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport
Tirerack backorder Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport
I just bought a set of 4 tires (staggered setup)
The 245/45R-18 are available now, however the 225/50R/18 are on backorder.
Does anyone have any insight as to what the typical wait is on a tire backorder situation? I'd hate to go all summer without new tires. I still have a few K left on the OEM set, but they are freaking loud.
Thanks.

I just installed the RE760sports on my car a couple weeks back. Great choice!
I went with 235/45F and 255/40R. Check if they have those sizes. No TPMS issues whatsoever, and you get wider tires. Just a thought.

Thanks 2K7:
That was my next question, how much can I vary from the OEM specs as far as width and sidewall aspect ratio?
So, if I were to go 245/45R-18 (stock rear) and 225/45R-18 front (when 225/50R-18 is stock) what kind of potential problems would I face?

I believe others have done this in the past with no problems.
