Warped Rotor?

hey guys,

so i have 11,000 miles on my 08 G and when braking, my steering wheel shake. at first it did not bother me, but now it is getting extremely annoying. i took the car to a tire place and they told me i have a warped roter, and the i need to resurface the fronts roters. I got quoted for $150.

is that normal with 11,000 miles and how could this have happened? i hardly do any hard-braking.

You need to know that these cars have a factory technical sevice bulletin (TSB ITB09-037) about this very issue. It's called "brake judder" and they will usually fix it at least one time for free. Search for it here, you'll definitely find it.

You can also warp your rotors when you drive you car and they get hot then wash your car, since you are splashing a hot rotor with cold water.

Wow really, when did this law come into effect. I am thinking the ban would be removed now that we're officially no longer in a draught.

Ehh, I don't think that's statewide. It must be more of a regional thing.

There is no way this law would come into effect.
