bluetooth question

i have an 08 g35 and a verizon iphone and just was wondering why the bluetooth doesnt always connect. i always have it on on the phone but lots of times i get nothing when i start it up and i have to go into my phone settings and bluetooh and then it will come. or even occasionally it wont come on then either and i have to turn off bluetooth and then back on again and it will come on. anyone else have this issue or a fix so it will always come on when the cars on. thanks.

i am only guessing here b/c i don't have this problem but when you get to the car have you been pushing your phone button on the car to connect to your car right away?

I used to have that problem with my 07 and my blackberry. The fix turned out to be a setting on my phone to allow the car profile to be trusted and to connect automatically. You should probably check to see if there is a similar option on the iPhone. Hope this helps.

My connects on my 07 G35 all the time but the problem I'm running into is that it will drop right in the middle of a call. The call doesn't drop, the bluetooth disconnects.. It doesn't happen often but enough to **** me off. I also have a Verizon Droid X.

What mine does, occasionally, is the screen to dial comes up, I select my call but then the radio screen come back but with no sound. Even if I turn the radio off and on again, it doesn't come back. This can happen even if I try three or four times in a row. Now, if I turn the phone off, then on again, all is normal.

Is this what you're experiencing?

With my Verizon HTC Incredible, my 08 disconnects and reconnects my bluetooth about once every 10 minutes. Never did that with my previous phone. Tried repairing, etc, no luck.

I've got an iphone with At&t and have problems with it too. Usually with my previous cheaper phones the ringer in the car would alert me with incoming calls but now nothing the iphone rings and eventually when it comes down to the last ring the phone number pops up on the cars screen.
I give up with the iphone and infiniti's **** bluetooth system.

I have an unlocked iphone 3gs for T-mobile and I had problems connecting it to my 07 in the beginning, but once I messed around for a while I finally got it to connect, recognize it everytime and it never ever drops me. Lucky I guess.
